Where are The Clowns, Please, send in the clowns.

A bit of nostalgia for those of us who remember the "clowns."
Frank Sinatra sings send in the clowns . . . and wait for the clowns.
Then please listen to the last bit by Orson Wells

YouRememberThat.Com - Taking You Back In Time... - Send In The Clowns

I miss the clowns. Too many today demand Political Correctness and have destroyed some great humour in the name of agenda driving.

We seem to have lost the clowns and gained the buffoons.

Possum,

I'm here, I'm here, don't cry.

Thanks for posting that. I also remember Don Ameche and Francis Langford in "The Bickersons."

Bring in the clowns of old day, not the present ones on national news.

The best rendition of that beautiful song was done by Edie Adams (wife of the late Ernie Kovacs). And BTW, one of his funniest, cleverist bits on TV was his video of pouring milk into a glass. The whole set was tilted about 25 degrees so when the milk was poured over the glass, it missed it.

Clowns have been creepy to me ever since watching 'Killer Klowns from Outer Space'. Keep the clowns away from me, please.

Clowns were ok until I watched "IT" by Stephen King. Now, not so much.

The movie can't do the book justice. I read the book when it first came out. All 1,000 plus pages in less than 3 days. That book went with me everywhere. Absolutely could not put it down. Great book!

I'll lose sleep over a really good one !

the absolute BEST technology on the movie set still can't do what your mind's eye can create

Amen. I'm not a big reader so movies have to do the trick for me.

That's for sure. There are no more clowns to "send in." They are all in Washington, DC.

I remember that one. It was one of those movies that was so bad that it was funny.
