Hi Karen,
I am new to the forum, but not to RV ing. I have been reading the posts on this forum for about six months.
My husband and I currently have a 2005 Itastca that we are trading in for a 2015 Tuscany. We should be getting it next week.
We are not new to the RV lifestyle as we have made several cross country trips over the years.
Next year we are planning to start full timing. Both of us follow this forum and appreciate all the helpful tips.
I really like this thread for all the women out there.
Safe travels to all.

Lois

I'm a gal. I skipped the introduction thread when I joined in a few weeks ago. I tend to jump in without thinking of the etiquette of introducing myself. Found this forum when we were shopping for our 2nd RV (travel trailer). Hubby and I have been weekenders for three years and are only sorry we didn't think of it sooner.

Welcome to the forum, Angie and Sunseeker2!
As you can see, most of us females have integrated into the regular threads on here, the last post before today's were back in may around Mother's day... it's not that we don't post or chat much, it's just that we do it in many of the threads on here... so cruise around and find a spot you like... or rev up this thread!

Hi Lois & Angie and welcome to iRV2. It's good to see more RVing ladies on the forum. In addition to my other RVing "titles", I am "The Poster". My hubby doesn't post and depends on me to ask questions and I pass on need-to-know info to him.

Lois, congrats on the new coach! Be sure to post pics when you get a chance!

Angie, I didn't find this forum until we were shopping for our DP about a year and a half ago!

Hi Brandi,
How do you like your r pod? Is yours a western model or mid western model? Do you use the screen rooms? the inside looks similar to my sister's camper, but I don't recall what the brand is on hers. She absolutely loves her layout though.

Hi yall!! Texas chic here! I sometimes post under the same ID as dear hubby...I tend to research issues and problems more than he does, and I read new posts and forums throughout the day. We have a class A DP and I drive as much if not more than he does. Upgrading to a tag axle soon. Would love to FT, but not ready yet...

Hi Ladies,

Since posting at Mother's Day we have since then bought our first MH. I Love It! I drive as much if not more than my DH. I plan to take this out alone with some girlfriends so have learned how to do everything.

We plan to retire in 15 months and get out of MI In the winter and come back in the summer. Best of both worlds.

Good to hear from you Ladies. Lynne

Diane,

I also do the research and funnel info to DH. I have yet to wrestle the wheel from him though. He enjoys driving and I think he enjoys me doing all the other stuff but at least I get to tell him where to go.

WTG, Lynne! You've been busy since Mothers Day!

We got back about 2 weeks ago from our first long trip in our new-to-us DP. We didn't have plans this time other than to go west. We wound up in Wyoming at Cody, then went to Montana (Red Lodge, Bozeman, a campground near Big Sky and West Yell) then to Yellowstone, Teton & Jackson Hole and last to Rocky Mountain NP in Colorado.
We found some great campgrounds, loved all of the parks and enjoyed the towns we visited.

We've got one more short trip planned this fall and I'm already looking forward to next year's trip!

Where are the gals on iRV2?

Just another gal chiming in. I too drive at least 50% of the time. Our camping club members are split on this...most of the ladies don't get behind the wheel but we do have 3 single ladies that travel alone I their own coaches. This summer a girlfriend and I went from eastern KY to California..great trip! Hubby and I will be full timing it as soon as he retires in 2019.
