News of the evening is we may be doing at least one more weekend or week or whatever out at Toquaht bay to watch the waves and wildlife. Then we will winterize for the duration, which hopefully won't be all that long.

Leaving Texas Motor Speedway on our way to Phoenix, then one last race in Homestead FL. Then back home to Illinois(maybe)

Nice ... that's an awesome race stretch.

That drive from Phoenix to Homestead-Miami looks like a big one - about 2400 miles. Are you doing the driving yourself?

The DW and I do have plans to follow NASCAR around at some point in our future. We've been to a few races over the past few years. I'd love to do a season stretch, or even just a chase stretch.

2Labs: Wife enjoys driving on non congested roadways, so she will drive most of Monday daylight hrs only,then I'll take over. The RV lot does not open until Wednesday in Fla. We will probably get there sometime Thursday.It was right at 1051 mi. from Texas to here and guesstimating of 2400 to Fla.
