Still at the S&B, Larry. We have a major event coming up at the end of the month - our 50th wedding anniversary. We'll have family coming out from the UK and Japan. along with our kids and grandkids who live in WA. Add in old friends and neighbors and the party adds up to almost 50 people. It will be on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend.

Fortunately, our HOA has a "cabana", on a bluff just above the beach on Burrows Channel which is rated for 50 people.

As things stand at present, we're finding the cost of using our RV is getting too high, considering our limited income. It's probable that it will be on the market in September.

We were hit by a rock almost immediately on the Alaska Highway. It was good road, just our bad luck. The rock came from an uncovered transport truck full of big rocks. Will need a windshield replacement on our truck and a fiberglass repair on our front cap. Otherwise, everything is fine. We have had things move around in our 5th wheel that never moved before. The frost heaves are a sight to behold on the Alaska Highway.

How many days should you allow yourself on the Alaskan highway trip?

Tom

Willow Lakes Golf and RV Resort! It's rainy and warm but no ones around just a couple of rigs! However, winters coming, one last trip to Myrtle Beach for the national rally then were back for the winter.

Stuck at home. Was in NE Ohio and had transmission problems, got it "fixed" and it lasted 1300 miles. Now it needs a major rebuild because of a cheap bushing. Maybe in a week I will get to go somewhere......

We are at home, back from our summer travels.

Yard work (.

We are going to Hamlin Beach State Park this weekend and will get away somewhere for Labor Day too. We are also looking forward to watching our daughter play college soccer this season.

In The Two Bit Motel and RV Park here in Libby, Montana. It's small with good sized lots, full hookups, trees, easy access to a laundry mat, restaurants just down town and very quiet.
We are here visiting grandkids. There are lots of RV Parks here but The Two Bit RV Park is worth a mention.
