No, I was thinking 90+97. In normal conditions, I would always think that's the better way to go, especially since the RV is stored in Covington. Holiday patterns make 90 a lot harder though, so I'll probably check traffic just before leaving and make the call then.

We'll be at the Strawberry Music Festival in Tuolumne City, CA. Four days of fabulous music in the foothills of the Sierra Nevadas. It doesn't get much better than that!

What made you decide to go with a car trailer ? We recently purchased our Monaco and tossed around what we wanted to use to tow the car. Pretty much decided to get a 14' trailer to haul the car. I think it is a better choice in regards to keeping the 'hauled' car off the road. Happy trails with your trailer !!

Loading up the cats and birds, heading down to Cresco IA so my Angel can visit with her sister. Leaving Thursday to miss the rush. We normally stay parked for holiday weekends.

Labor Day Weekend
We planned a 4 day Labor Day Weekend at Lion Country Safari KOA. We live nearby and decided to avoid the highways this busy holiday weekend.

We bring one with us, the other two are happier at home, plus it keeps the overall fur level down to a manageable level!

I just returned to Texas from helping a friend in New York State, after pulling the RV I full-time in out of temporary storage (I was gone 5 weeks) I learned that the campground I’d planned to stay at in Ruidoso was full for Labor Day weekend. So, because of Labor Day weekend I’m staying in Texas this week and will travel to Ruidoso with plans to arrive on September 7th. It really doesn’t much matter since I’m retired and every day of the week is a holiday!

Tom n Teri,
We don't expect to meet anyone out on the road, but we will also be in the northern Michigan area. We will be near Boyne, off of I-75. We do plan to go over the Big Mac, all the way to Escanaba in the UP.
We are not really full time, but once we get into the coach in the spring, we travel until November, back home to Clearwater, FL.
We do find that holidays are an irritation, with a lot of parks just full to overflowing. Makes it hard to find spots sometimes.
Anyway, enjoy your travels,
Tom
