Sunny Sarasota

Have lived in Sarasota, Florida since 1961 (with the exception of '66-'86 stint in the Army). We have the most beautiful beaches one can imagine and great weather from about November to May. May to the end of November and we are on the road. Heading for Colorado, but have been in the heat since departing Sarasota the end of May.

Reside in Northern Virginia and work in Maryland during the week and live south of Fredericksburg, VA every weekend I can. Counting the months until I can go full time.

We hail from Mass. South of Boston. Been in Florida over 20 years and don't miss the snow/cold at all.

No but I do volunteer as an ambassador answering questions about what to see and do in this area. I just found out a huge Sockeye Salmon run is going on right now so I may run out to Stamp Falls to see if I can get some pictures of the Sockeye jumping up the falls. That is another thing that's fun to do around here.

Denise and I retired here after living in the provincial capital Victoria. Can't get out of there fast enough when we are forced to venture into the big city limits by events.

Born and raised in Iowa with a detour to Montana and Wisconsin the last couple of years but we have always had our home to come back to in Decorah.

I would have to say I live in the highest taxed state with more liberals than anybody knows what to do with and they just want everyone to give and them to not change and always be late on fiscal budget and still get paid big buck and send out IOUs to everyone else. Can you guess what state I'm in and yes I can't believe I'm still here. LOL!!!!

Born in a small mountain town in Colorado, then spent 25 years living where the Army told me to and now live near the lake in Milford, Kansas. Still have family all over Colorado so its a great place to stop and park the rig for free!
