Depends on what you want to do and the Southeast covers a lot of territory.

A couple of our favorites are:

Jekyll Island - An Affordable Georgia Beach Family Vacation Destination Spot

Hunting Island State Park Camping - Lighthouses in South Carolina - Hunting Island State Park

If you are military or DOD civilian check out the FAM camps on the military installations.

Good Luck,
Jon

MS. Linda,

We're not far from you (Baton Rouge area) and stay at several rv parks not far from you. What type of park are you looking for, casino. state park, kids friendly park. quiet, beach etc.? I'm sure we can recommend some that will match your interest.

Camping in Southeast

I love Hanna Park in Jacksonville (Neptune Beach).
