Where should we look for the rocks ?
Been cruising around some mountain road areas in the north east
Some signs say "Falling Rock Zone" and some say "Fallen Rock Zone"
I guess it's in the timing.

Travel I40 between Knoxville and Ashville, seems like there is a rock fall every other month. Look for where they are working on the road then wait.

If you see a sign "Watch for Fallen Rocks" send them in and they should send you one.

I don't know about the east but here in the west "Fallen Rock" was a young Indian boy, the son of a chief. He went on a long journey and was lost. The chief ordered everyone to watch for him, hence all the signs ("Watch for Fallen Rock").

I enjoy the signs that say "Watch for Falling Rocks". It sounds more immediate and exciting, like we are about to be in a movie action scene. I had often wondered what you are supposed to do when you spot them. The signs in BC have clarified it for me. They read:
"Falling Rocks - No Stopping for 2km"
Zigzagging the motorhome for the next two kilometers as rocks are falling around us. Now that's excitement worthy of Bond himself.

After you see a rock sign, park on the mountainside of the road. They will eventually come to you. Better rock picking during heavy rain.

No, but I have seen deer that ignore those signs and cross where ever they want to.
