I was in the Navy somewhere at sea in 1977. WOuld have been 3rd class (E$) by then.

I was six.., lol. We were in Pageland,SC. Dad is a Methodist minister. That was around the time the folks stopped camping. Mom had Hodgkin's Lymphoma and times were rough.
Took me meeting DW to start camping again. Now..,we take our girls out camping. Time to train the next generation to love the outdoors!

The 'BLIZZARD OF 77'. Remember it well. I had been in the military for more then ten years when for some reason the U.S. Navy sent me to the Air Force Base in Niagara Falls, NY for a couple years.

In Tehran and Esfahain, Iran working with Bell Helicopter...
SUPPOSED to be working with mainframes that they didn't get installed until a year after I was there ! Best vacation of my life Toured Europe, rode dirt bikes around the painted desert there and around the Caspian sea into Russia, etc.... and banked a LOT of money
If you really are sad and think nobody cares, just try missing a few payments ! '11 Monaco Diplomat 43DFT RR10R pushed by a Demco Excali-Bar II hitch which is pushed by a '14 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport.

I was starting a new job Jan 17 1977. Cars were all buried door handle deep in snow. Actually the blizzard of 1978 was worse.
