Should have made it a pole. I'd like to see how many GI gens are on here and still RVing. Good reading, nonetheless. Both boomers here.

With 6 years between us, I'm Gen X and my wife is a Boomer. We couldn't be more different, but even after 25 years, I'm still crazy about that girl.

Source on the following is, in Major part, Dr. Isaac Asimov, who if ask "What are you a doctor of?" Could have honestely answered "Practically everything".

In the 1960's (Just as the group I quoted started going to work) You could get a job easily, If your boss was a jerk there was another job down the road.. Unions were strong.> Income tax was a graduated system going up as high as 92% for the upper crust as they say... NASA was fully funded and this great country of ours RULED..

Then we put a man on the moon, NASA had their funding cut to peanuts, and jobs started to vanish.. Suddenly managers who used to make say 10 times what labor did were getting paid 30-100 times what workers did (Today its' over 1,000 in many cases).

No longer could one income support the family, so the wife had no choice but to go to work. and it continues to get worse.

Born in 53. Traditionally Republican but leaning towards independent. Fiscal conservative, socially moderate. Can't believe the track this country is on. Both Kennedy and Reagan are turning over.

Born 1980 so I guess Gen X. I know I'm only 35 but I don't feel at all young anymore.
