I am a newbie and I am scared to death of making a HUGE mistake. So if our questions seem dumb, there is a good reason, they are dumb to those of you who have been doing this for months, or years. Picking an RV would be so much easier if there were only a few choices instead of the insane number available. I know I appreciate your taking the time to try and reassure the novices (me) and if this RV thing turns out to be as much fun as I hope it will, I will pay your generous help forward.

Snarky. But, in my opinion, sarcasm is among the best forms of humor.

I guess that I have to tip my hand some time. That is the point of this thread. You do not need the best of anything, only what is appropriate for your needs. What is right for some might be a poor choice for others. That is the best advice I can give you.

RV.org rates RVs. It cost about $159.00 to get a book and access to their database which has lots of info. If I were you I would check it out. Also go to RV shows and LOOK and ask questions. Or go to RV rallys and ask questions.

No matter what your rig costs, you will still want the cheapest place to park it.

I have a pristine condition Prevost. All the faucets are gold plated, the floors are covered in angel hair, I have an escalator instead of stairs, God is my copilot. Why am I still unhappy?
That's the point of the OP's question.

That's easy. I do, in my kitchen.

Time to revive this thread. I keep seeing questions about what is best - Gas or Diesel, MH or TT, 4 down or Dolly. Please read this thread in it's entirety to get the best answers.
