Reading this tread has made me thirsty. I would say my favorite had to be in liquid form but that is not totally true. Frozen cubes and jell shots are ok. Cheers.

If you like Jello shot or slammers as we call them you should try pudding shots.

Scotch and jello or pudding does not sound appealing. Sticking with a drop of water or the lone little ice cube. lol

Have you tried Cabo Wabo? It's pretty smooth!

Glenfiddich - I put it a step or two above The Glenlivet, but there are a ton of single malts that are a lot better, in my opinion! One of my favorites is Scapa 18 year old ...

Ah Alan! My only problem is having to put diesel into the tank and not being able to spend my money on that "other" Scotch. Hee hee!

Glad I don't have to drive anywhere for a while yet today, would probably get a DUI from just reading this thread. 90 miles from Lynchburg, but it's a 'dry county'.

I prefer my scotch cold, but I have imbibed in straight up. So there.

Reminds me of my GTMO days. Party, party, party was the word of the day. I'd take my Chivas (couldn't get Malt) to the party only to notice that i wasn't drinking much, but the bottle was emptying fast. Hmm! Next party I took an empty Cuddy Sark bottle and poured my Chivas in it and took the Cuddy Sark bottle to the party. I had that scotch to myself all night. All future parties I did the same thing.

Sorry GTMO crowd!
Hey Marine, I drank my share of warm beer In RVN myself. Finally got a taste for scotch... Cheap,, $.35 a shot. also got ice. Now all I drink is scotch. I enjoy JW Red and Duggans Dew 86 proof. Take care. Merry Christmas. 1 Marine son home, 1 Marine son deploying again the end of this week. Semper Fi.

Semper Fi calhyatt, Semper Fi. I know you are proud of the boys. I have one sone in-country right now at Camp Leatherneck. The other is a police dispatcher here in Texas.

Ah, the days when we spent $0.10 each for a beer. Only $2.40 for a case. Same thing for a soft drink. I think our shots were 25 cents each, but I really don't remember much about those drinks - kinda foggy.

p.s., Thank them both for their service.

Is anyone else getting thirsty?
'Pure water' is by far the best. Probably not widely available but we can get actual bottled glacier melt water. 10,000 year old snow water and an Isley Whisky. HEAVEN!!

Bye the bye, if you're talking Scotch there's no 'e' between the 'k' and the 'y.' Bourbon, Rye, etc., you'll see the 'e.'
