I know. There's also no editing of subject lines without mod assistance so I let it go. Been caught by that more than once and a little whisky may have been involved.

After drinking Jack since the '80's, a friend turned me on the W L Wellers about 5 years ago and I have not bought Jack since. Well, until I couldn't find Wellers north of Ohio, LOL.

This gets my vote for "Post of the Day."

But you can modify a subject line. Click 'Edit' and "Go Advanced.'

Ditto's on the Jack Daniels single barrel,
also like the Crown Royal cask #16, but not the price!!!
Scotch and Irish whiskey,
JW Black, Bushmills, Glenlivit, Speyside, almost all the single malts are great....
Can't wait till Christmas!!

My DW once bought me a super cheap bottle of scotch that was on sale at the booze store.

Boy was it ever good!

No one has mentioned a Single Malt I bought on the road, some 12-15 years ago, it is still mostly full, no one that's tried has wanted another taste.. It is McClelland's Single Malt ISLAY. Strong Old Wet campfire flavor. From the back label:
"Color: Warm Honey
Nose: Wood cinders, smoke, subtle citrus
Palate:Sea salt,burnt oak chips & vanilla
Finish: Sweet smoke with a hint of iodine
Behind the smoke ,however, are gentle mossy scents, traces of seaweed and just a hint of spice."

Of course I only looked at the pretty picture of the Scottish Isles on the front and bought the only single malt they carried.

But tonight, a fine whisky and a Toast to all, "To your Health, Happiness and Prosperity"

I enjoy a shot or two of Revel Stoke, hard to find in the US. But our local liquor store started carrying it after some requests.

A Good Reason To Not Drink Vodka.... ?

Steve, they misspelled Whiskey.

Whisky saves man's eyesight after being blinded by vodka - National - NZ Herald News

The better the brand the quicker the cure?

Wayne- Just North of 10 mile Road.

I noticed in an earlier post that fredaevans is partial to the ISLAY scotch. I found the woodiness overwhelmed the scotch. (remember I'm a shallow water sailor, not a Jarhead)..

LOL. The "guy was blind drunk" and scotch was the cure. I'm going to remember that the next time I have a headache or a cold.

You pointed the windshield south yet? I found another couple bottles in the medicine cabinet the other day. Glenrothes 1991 (not their best recipe year but effective).

Spelling bees are beyond my grasp but scotch is always within reach.

I could never figure out the big deal about Hooked on Phonics. Who doesn't know how to sound out a word? Then I had kids. Talk about something that would drive you to drink is helping a kid with spelling lessons who was being taught "word recognition".
