White Christmas

For all of you in sun country that long for a white Christmas, if that's possible, here are some PIC's. I'm in central WI and we got snow, even took a ride on my snowmobile yesterday after the Packer Victory. Going to try to post some PIC's of the snow, wish me luck. Jim

Great pictures. Like my wife says: "It is real pretty as long we view it from Florida!"

Beautiful pics - only a sprinkling of snow in OK today. Just enough to make traveling treacherous.

I suppose it does give it more of a Christmas feel to have snow. Here in central FL the weather has been really nice. There were 27 of us for Christmas eve, and we ate outside on the deck. Just cool enough we could have a fire for ambiance but not be cold.

Nice. I'm glad I don't have to shovel any of it.

Its a merry Christmas and it is white in Omaha...but it is 4 degrees. I drove through the mid-week snowstorm (bad) to get here to the see the grandkids (good). I'll drive through the snowstorm tomorrow (bad) to get to Oralndo to pick up my new home on the 28th (good).

The only snow I think I ever want to see again is if:
1) Glacier National Park or any of the Canadian or US Rockies (from a distance)
2) Glacier National Park
3) Mt Rainier
4) or if I go snow skiing

Otherwise X2 on washing the new coach in 74 degrees in Florida or Texas in my future

Nice snow, Jim, looks a lot like my place.... 3 inches new at 1500 elevation in the Oregon cascades. Family gathering for a truly "white Christmas", beautiful and more is falling as I type.......... Happy Holidays to you all!

I was a police dispatcher in Detroit, Mi area (Michigan state police 2nd district) for 25 years, That's 25 years of cars crashing into each other in the snow, 25 years of calling fire department when the improper heate method the people were using set their squat on fire, 25 hears of.. Well you get the picture.

Including at least one head on accident I'll never forget.

Today.. I'm in Upstate South Carolina, It rained yesterday, It rained today, The ground is saturated with WATER, not one bit of ice save what is in the freezer.

Today I had to drive two hours to Kitchener to visit my son in the nursing home and I took my four year old granddaughter with me. When we were in Kitchener, she asked, isn't it winter here as there was no snow to be seen?
Here at home there is only the snow that was plowed up last week or blew against the ditches and hedges- otherwise a green Christmas and at 0 degrees (32).

I just thought I would share a PIC of our winter RV's. It was 15 degrees when we left home and 7 degrees when we got back, had a great time. Hope it comes through as it was a nice view. Jim
