I plan to collect a clothing article from each area that I camp. Maybe a t-shirt or hat. I've read about some of you collecting the State Quaters from the states they visit, or stickers for that state etc. I've gotten a shirt from Pine Mountain Ga (purchased in a pharmacy there), and Butts Mill Farm (made for the in-law's reunion by family members) from out last trip. See my webshots for pics of them! Let us know what you collect!

Oh ya I to enjoy looking for a t-shirt or cap from places that we visit Last year I got a very nice Feiald of Dreams sweatshirt when I and the little wife visited the farm place outside Dyersville What a neat site it was turning into the driveway and seeing the feiald and that big house

My wife picks up interresting pieces of tree bark, leaves, stones and even a thin sliver of rusted steel abiut 1/8 inch thick.
I told her to quit the rocks because of our weight limit. It's either the procks or a cat of equal or greater weight.

I collect fat from each place we go and keep it close to me so I won't loose it.

I tried to collect a coffee cup or mug from the places we've been, but my wife stopped me because I filled up the cabinet.

We collect memories and take pictures. Much easier to keep and store than anything else.

I was collecting coffee mugs from each new state we visited but when the collection got
to over 200 I figured it was time to quit. I even managed to give away about 1/2. Now that we are planning to make the rec room into two
bedrooms for our 3 special needs daughters
(moving them downstairs to make it easier on our old backs)I will be getting rid or more.
Now I seem to be getting over stocked on t-shirts from all the different places. Ken
just puts another sticker on the map on the side of the RV.
Of course, everyone who knows us, will tell you I collect anything Disney.
Hope everyone is enjoying the start of school
and looking forward to Fall.

Judy (retired and tired)
Ken (retired and happy)
and our 4 very special Angels

Only one RV trip did we make a collection. During our Alaska trip we picked up those little souvenir magnets from known places. These magnets cover every inch of the sides and front of the RV range hood and gives us a never ending reminder of that great trip. Some of the places, photos and logos shown are: Seward, Anchorage, Talkeetna, Kenai, Denali NP, Homer, Fairbanks, North Pole, Skagway, Hyder, Arctic Circle ...even have one showing the Official State Bird of Alaska, the Mosquito.

If you keep picking items like that you will need a caravan, not just one RV. Ha, ha.

We collect magnets too. Hubby picked up a piece of metal in Lowes and we spray painted it black and velcroed it to the big mirror in dining area. Not much weight and no cupboards to clutter.
