This may be our first real trip also. Did a little work on the rig yesterday. We may take a short trip or two before the CL trip to Arkansas. Need to change oil, but only about 3K on the rig since I did that last winter. May just do it after the Arkansas trip. I put water with Clorox in the water tank and water heater and all the plumbing yesterday for a good annual sanitizing. Will have to drain and flush before going anywhere. Marty how's that roof coming. They are forecasting snow for this week, but spring is just around the bend. Come on global warming.

Kimberling Mo in May. It's over by Branson. Scheduled this trip back in Oct. for a family reunion. Have a second family reunion in Aug. at Bourbonnais IL. Try pronouncing that one!

March 14 for four days, to Groveland CA, but who's counting. Still very cold in Reno area, so I can't start getting the rig ready yet, you know, drain the pink stuff, load the beer, etc.

Cardinals spring training in Jupitor Fl in March from SW Illinois. Savanna, Ga, Charelston, S.C. and Columbia S.C. On the way home. Might swing through Indy to see the grands on the way home.

First trip of the season? Does last weekend count? Kept the rig winterized and went to tailgate at Rupp arena in Lexington, KY!

Unfortunately my longest stretch without our MH is upon us.... Just under 6 weeks until SEC tournament in Atlanta!

If this is the base right on Mayport Road just outside of Jax. beach, it can get a little rough. At least 15 yrs ago it was.

Pepper2, I believe it's changed a lot since you were last there! There are 2 RV parks on base. Pelican Roost is located right near the carrier basin so all the retirees can watch the ship traffic. Beautiful setting.

The other park is long term & is located where TLF trailers used to be back near the Youth Center.

If you're referring to Mayport Rd, yes, there's still a couple of "clubs" but the area has really cleaned up. Also, they finally put in Wonderwood Xpressway which comes off 9A & zips you right over to the stoplight at Hanna Park. Turn left & you're at the gate!
