This post is for the Part-timers.
Who is going camping this month and where will you be going?
We have two trips planned...
Blowing Rock NC
and Grayson Highlands!
I can't wait!!

I will be doing a review on my blog of both campgrounds where we will be staying!

We're finally getting out! A simple weekend in a koa in Joplin to meet with family and just hang out, a visit to an old family cemetery. Can't wait to put the awning down and start the blender. Leaving the dogs at home with a sitter. We'll be free, not that I don't love the dogs but they are big guys and when we have them camping, it's all about the dogs. All systems Go.

We are "camping" on Oahu, Hawaii for the month of May. We have rented a beach house on the eastern side. Originaly, we were going here to see the greatgrand kids but they have moved back to Colorado. Since we had made and paid all reservations, we just had to go anyway. If any one would like to check out rentals (anywhere) try www.vrbo.com . We have used this twice and it has worked out very well for us. VRBO means "vacation rentals by owner". We will head to Idaho in August with the 'ol 5er.

If anyone gets a chance to camp at Boulder Lake it's a nice campground. Come check it out some time.

We'll be going to 1000 Trails in Hershey, Pa. sometime in May for a weekend. Be the first time there, so we'll see how we like it. The kids gave us the first year dues for Christmas this past year, so I'm sure we will be there a half dozen or so time after this.
