Wild Gorrilla Encounter

All I can say is WOW!

I received an email that said:

"A tourist camp in Africa -- you can tell that the guy was stunned by his experience. This is a great video of the Silverback Gorilla and family coming into camp for a visit. Quite an unusual experience."

I then found a good link from YouTube.

Wilde Gorilla Encounter

I think i'd have wet pants. And not from plant moisture.

Wow! That was awesome. He was a lot more relaxed than I would've been.
Man, that Silverback male behind him was huge!

Amazing footage and remarkable animals.

I just have a hard time thinking that I could sit still while something entirely capable of ripping my leg off and beating me to death with it hovered over me.

I thought that also, but further "investigation" showed that it was one of the plant leafs in that area. (I couldn't see the back side for "stains.")

My Wife and I rented a RV in Johannesburg, South Africa 4yr's ago. Drove North through Botswana to Victoria Falls, West though Namibia to the coast and South back to South Africa and drove alone the bottom of Africa to Cape Town, then back up to Jo'berg. 5000km in 15 days. Sadly we didn't see Gorillas, but we did see lots of Giraffes, Elephants, Springbok, Cudu, and a host of others. We got to play with a Cheetah and two 6mth old lion cubs, one of which was white.
It was an awesome trip.
