Cooked one sous vide last night. I'll do potatoes and carrots tonight to go with it. Passing on the cabbage this year.

I bake mine in the oven. I really do not care for the texture of crock pot cooked meats. Bad weather prevents us from cooking it on the smoker. Will have sautéed cabbage as a side.

I need to try smoking one soon. I might grab a couple more if they're on sale this weekend.

That's my plan but at Safeway instead. Cooking it on the GMG Davy Crockett smoker sounds like a plan as well.

I'm stuffed. It turned out great. One of the grandsons arrived and I opened the door of the RV. He ran to the gate holding his nose. Being a good sport at 10 years old he made it inside and had two helpings. He really liked the Kelp,.,.(cabbage of course).

Yep, had a few beers. Unfortunately no leftovers.

Life is good.
