Being a meteorologist by trade, this is a nice visualization. Great job by the developers

Maybe the weather changes from day to day??? Sounds like a 4 day trip. I am assuming this is current day to day.

I have come to believe , at least in our case, that the wind direction is directly effected by being in a MH....

The only way I can keep the wind to the rear of my RV is if I back up. At least it sure seems that way.

Too bad there isn't an app for this to display the winds in the area you're in. Still nice though.

John,
If you hold your mouse over a certain area, the wind-speed will be displayed. If you 'click', it will zoom-in.
Really a very useful website, especially when traveling cross-country.

That's understood. I just meant with a GPS smart phone, the winds in your area would be instantly displayed. Much easier than firing up a laptop and using a mouse going down the road.

My RV has a wind predictor in it. If I'm headed north the wind will be out of the north. Southbound, same thing, southbound south wind.

Wow! Great system. Now if you could get it so when going north, you get a 60 mph wind out of the south.
