+1. I ran a BBS on a 64, then a 128 for almost 10 years before Al Gore invented the interwebz. I still have those in a box somewhere too.

Firefox has an add-on called NO-SQUINT that is great; it installs a + and - in the upper right side of your tool bar that will enlarge or decrease as you like.

My first was a "Leading Edge" with a whopping 20 megs of memory. It's a lot heavier than the C64, so it makes a better doorstop.

It looks to me that Microsoft is finally coming around with some of the apps that make life easier for those who spend a lot of time on the computer.

One thing I did notice is that it is much faster in response time when doing anything now; almost like I had bumped up the memory.

BTW: this is the Windows 8 Preview Edition for evaluation; it is not a final product, but it is certainly gaining my favor.
I have installed it twice and so far....I don't think it is up to par with Windows 7

I remember when the TRS 80 came out; my dad bought one with ALL the extras. It filled up his spare bedroom wall to wall.............but, we were cutting edge back then.........

Trash 80. I've seen one of those.

Anybody remember the AT&T 6300? I had a couple. It was better than the original IBM as it had a 8086 processor and the IBM had an 8088 running at a slower speed. It was made by Olivetti in Italy, but AT&T didn't market it right; which didn't surprise me.
