Winter Weather Outlook

Here's the latest in the long term Winter 2015/16 weather forecast. El Nino effects for staying warm in the South and Southeast may be at risk. If you look at the video, it shows the precip outlook as well above normal for south Texas and above normal for the rest of the Southeast.

Dave and Beth,

Since I live in MI I don't think I will mind the North being a bit warmer. Sorry for those down South, but I won't be crying over it.

Good weather wherever you are. Lynne

Love the sunshine and warmer weather!

You are right. They are saying "the strongest ever on record". El Nino has already made his mark on Texas. Flooding and warm weather through Oct. We had our 1st frost last night, which is not totally unusual. What is unusual is that we've barely been below 50 degrees up until late Nov. I took these photos today and you can see how green it still is.
