Wish had more Info

I wish that when members sign up they would put their info in. It might just be me but I like to see where everyone is from. If they list it in their avatar it makes it easy. Just a problem I have I guess, just venting. Jim

What information do you require in the signature that you cannot find by clicking on the name to see the profile?
Just curious....

I agree Jim, and we would all appreciate more info but it us not a requirement, so....

I am "from" many places. Will be from Tucson in about a month, and may be back next season, and maybe not.

I agree, but... Not so easy when using the iPhone app. Very limited options so those changes must be done by a computer while on the website, and that's not always possible.

Some people are guarded about their personal information for a multitude of reasons. I can't fault that in today's "information age". I'm glad people congregate here but yes sometimes I would like to know more, just idle curiosity more than a real need.

I guess in this regard the price that is paid is that is more difficult sometimes to help, answer a question, or come to the aid when little information is provided. Sometimes I see something to comment on but it becomes too much work looking up what is not provided. Often answers are dependent on knowing what region of the country the person is from or what kind of RV they have or perhaps their age.

The best we can do is, like this thread, is just help people understand the more we know the better we can assist.

I would put a lot more info in my signature IF it was allowed, space wise.

This forum has the smallest data limit on signature size of all the RV forums that I participate in.

Personally, I feel that information in none of anyones business, and just may lead to sinister happenings from those that use data mining software.

Well, there is enough for some to list their rig, all upgrades, toad, blog address, names of pets, etc. Check them out.

How do you do that. Only my picture shows, nothing else is added below that?

I don't have anything to post, I don't have my unit (5er) yet, I am gathering information as quickly as possible and as much as I can ,to face living in my RV F/T due to having to leave my place and no rentals in sight that I can afford.
... so I am on a crash course ...

I have asked if anyone has any info on my forthcoming.
5er but no - one knows anything about it, (25
ft Vanguard Wrangler 4 seasons) I probably know the most about it ...history, make origin) built before Fleetwood bought them out ...

One poster was kind enough to search for me but they don't make them anymore)
I will be going to get it this weekend I hope, the snow has not seen fit to leave but it is supposed to go up to -5 by the weekend..

I did try to go in to change my profile but cannot seem to access the original information to change the original trailer I thought I was getting ,to the one I will be getting...

Not all folks want to put all their 'possessions' out for the world to see, it makes me think of bragging, however, I doubt that is the case....

I do want to thank all of you who have shared you knowledge and helped give me the tools to move forward.

Anyway, that is why I don't have anything in my signature. or avatar

Happy Trails
