Went back to the urologist on Friday for a followup to the lithotripsy. The stone is still there only a little farther down the ureter. He said to come back in 3 weeks and in the meantime, drink, drink, drink lots of fluids. He said he might have to put a stent in the ureter if the stone blocks urine passage again. What a bummer. Said to take my pain pills if I start to hurt again.

My doc mentioned cranberry juice as the best thing for those stones. Apparently the acid in the juice breaks those things down. He didn't mention apple or orange juice.

A banjo will get you through a time of no money much better than money will get you through a time of no banjo.
