I don't understand this game. In all word association games I have ever played, you cannot repeat one of the words in the topic. All that is going on here, is people are dropping the adjective.

In games I understood from the past, an exchange would look more like:

Q: Perfect Beach

A: Hawaii.

Here, the answer would be a simple, 'Beach.'

In re-reading the inputs, I now understand that the previous post is the one being responded to, but the same complaint remains,

Now I see it is not that an adjective is being dropped, but that it is being added first, then dropped.

But, my question remains. Is there a rule here? Can one respond with an actual associated word, instead of the same word?
