These Contractors are installing the steel pillars, in concrete, to stop vehicles from parking on the pavement outside a Sports Bar.

They are now in the process of cleaning up at the end of the day and anxious to go home.

I wonder if the barriers are like the ones outside of the FEMA building in DC...they retract down in to the pavement.

Folks only 6 has been set in concrete , look real close at the square where the post at set in , then notice the one behind the truck has no square cut out for the concrete , so that pole is only just standing there , until they remove the truck out . then they will cut out the square and place the pole in with cement. :sorry

I was going to say one of the posts likely was in a sleeve with a pad lock so that it could be removed in case of the need to bring a delivery truck up close.
