Funny the bank wont accept an expired drivers license, TSA will as long as it's not more the one year expired.

The TSA would probably accept a Death Certificate as valid ID.

In AZ, an expired ID is not considered legal ID. When I worked in a convenience store, I frequently was presented an expired driver's license for ID for tobacco/alcohol purchases and, by law, I had to refuse them. If someone had a temporary license (without a picture) or a license that had a hole punched in it, I couldn't accept it. Even if the person had a temporary license and the expired license, I still couldn't accept it. All that was dictated by State Law and the penalties for underage sales were very harsh. I agree, most of it was incredibly stupid but I didn't have any choice.

I got a letter from the DMV stating that my license was automatically extended for X amount of years. My license, by date was expired, and they still wouldn't accept that.
