Wounded Warrior Project

If you can, would you please give this organization a consideration. They do help our recent veterans. I am a veteran of VN & I do appreciate our countries acknowledgment of our recent vets.

My daughter, Captain Lori Kirkland has been in the Wounded Warrior Program at Ft Bliss, TX since her return from Iraq in May 2010. She has had 2 hip surgeries, a vieno gram of the brain, a pressure test of the brain, and a series of eye procedures. At present she can no longer care for herself. The Army has appointed me to be her caretaker. All said she is not out of the woods yet and is in the process of a medical discharge/retirement. The Wounded Warrior Program has been great. It has provided assistance above and beyond what the Army is capable of doing. It is great and I can speak first hand that it is a worthwile event.

Thank you for your service Captain Kirkland. Thank you Mom and Dad. I pray for healing of all our injured military personnel. Praying for a speedy and full recovery Lori and for strength for your wonderful caring family.

Wounded Warrior Program is a wonderful program. It simply isn't advertised enough.
