It's raining, it's pouring
The old man is snoring
Went to bed bumped my head
Couldn't get up on the morning
========
Thank you TS Lee. It has been raining for an hour, at least, and I hope it rains all night long, and even then some. We have been without a good rain, and we, the City, is on water restrictions. So, rain, rain, rain, please.

I seen a map of Texas yesterday. They said the ''red part'' was where the drought was... The whole state was 'RED'. They said the worstest drought in 50 years I think. They said water was so scarce that Wayne the Marine had not took a shower in three months.
GO RAIN GO...... GO RAIN ON TEXAS.... MAKE TEXAS ALL WET ALL OVER.... RAIN ON WAYNE THE MARINE........ (ping),,,,
God bless our vets and give the ones in Texas a good shower....

Jarheads are used to not showering for 3 months........or more.
That's probably why their Service 'A' uniforms are green.

Yeah is the Texas way, and you drag out the "aaaaahhhh.
I really don't know how that "h" got in there, but I think I just covered the blunder with the "aaaaahhhh."
It rains steady for about 2-3 hours, but it is still not enough.
"'mon back rain, 'mon back."
Seajay, I think you were looking at a political map. (hee hee!)
Bob, I don't think you got the part about why the Service A is green. The rest of it is close though.

I thought "Hee Hawwww..." covered that?
Gonna be spending a lot of time in Austin and SA real soon, and those bone dry Cedar's scare the hell out of me. Being from Calif., I am fully aware of what can happen with a little wind in the mix.

Our family had to leave central Texas (west of Waco) in 1952 because of the drought. My dad owned a welding repair shop in a small farm community (Turnersville) and no one had money to repair any equipment that broke. And they now say this one is worse. Record heat and record dry. And yesterday and today fierce winds from the north. Over 400 homes burned in one fire in Bastrop county SE of Austin. We pray for rain!.............ronspradley
