We didn't either (we were in Yellowstone in June). But, here's one we saw at Yellowstone Bear World in Idaho. Maybe the NPS sent him down for training.

There was a video a while back that showed a radio station receiving a phone call from a woman complaining that the highway department was putting the deer crossing signs in the wrong places and should put them where it would be safer for the deer to cross. she actually believed the deer would only cross where there was a sign.

Actually, they dug the Colorado River on the border between AZ and CA to serve as that crease. The Grand Canyon was dug to store the river water until they finished digging the crease.

From what I have heard the tourists are working on the training by leaving food out.Then they complain that the training worked when the bears show up.
