Friday we were told that a friend of ours was diagnosed with cancer and he had two to six months to live. That was a real shocker that kept us awake all night thinking about how close our lives are and the things we want to do.
This afternoon, he pasted away...

You folks don't know the Matz family, but if they could, they would have been great RVers.

Sorry to hear about your friend, at least he is no longer in pain. The guy in the spot next to us is dieing of cancer, has been told maybe 4 months. He is a fulltimer, single and 79 years old, living out his last days in his 5th wheel.

Again sorry to hear about your friend.

Terry

You sure don't know what is ahead !!
My neighbor suddenly had a bad stroke, and she has 10 AKC Lhasa Apsos and 7 puppies, and more on the way ! I am going there and taking care of them 3 times a day, and her granddaughter, who works full-time, helps, but we don't know if my neighbor will ever be able to take care of them again. The SPCA has been great, and they have 3 of the dogs in temporary foster homes, as they needed more full time care.
At the moment we are still trying to get a Power of Attorney, so that the puppies can be registered with AKC, and sold, then her bills can get paid when due, so she won't lose her house and car. Apparently, as my neighbor is not lucid enough, nor physically able, to sign the POA, it will have to go before a judge.
Let this be a lesson, to us all:
BE PREPARED FOR ANY EVENT !
