Your CB handle
Looks like a long winter for us snow lovers so lets try to keep on the sunnyside with some pleasant time wasters.
Anyone still use their CB radios. I heard the highway lingos a bit too rough for most ears.
Anyway whats your real or imaginary CB handle?
Ours are Extra Crispy and DW's Hold the Mayo

I travel (motor home only) with two CB's one on 13 (The good sam's channel) and one on 19, I also have additional receive only devices and one hand held (no batteries in it).
I have had some joy from the channel 19 job telling me of things about the road ahead that I really needed to know, Saved me both money and blood pressure meds.
My handle, however, when I use CB is STREAKER cause now yhou hear me and now you don....................

When I began in CB my handle was "blue boy"_until it began meaning something else on the West coast. Since then it's "Yankee". Still have my old FCC license KEW0304.

OK Ray, Now your showing your age. I still have my old State Reg. Plate with my numbers on it. Showing my age as well I guess. Seldom use the one in the coach but it is nice to know it's there if need be.

My handle was "Salty Dog" as I had just gotten out of the Navy. This was late 60's. I had a base station, and a mobile in my van. Still have it all boxed up somewhere in the garage. Just haven't been able to bring myself to get rid of it. Brings back too many good memories I guess. Licence # KBW1012
Safe travels. 10-7 good buddy

My handle was and is "Girl Watcher". Self explanatory!
I wish the CB was used as much as it once was.

I think my old FCC registration numbers were WYN9693. I have a CB in my car, truck, RV and motorcycle. I usually monitor CH 17 or CH 19. Our local RV club runs on CH 22. My handle is "Cannonball" and the DW is "Candy Apple".

KBQ6428 and when the Ham Lic was active N8OBZ as for the handles, as a young teen, it was Jethro and once I was on my own, it became Big "D" The rigs are long gone, at when things were at there best, Base was a HR2510 with a Moonraker at about 45 feet in the air. Had lots of good times back then!

Back in my younger days, I had a 250W amplifier on my radio and usually when I pressed the talk key it would make a screech sound. Friends started calling me Screamer and it stuck. I wish I was still young enough to remember my old license number

When I was a kid CBs were at their peak. I was the Wind Machine KLLB-2994, did not like that I had four letters in my license, but I guess they started running out of numbers.
I had a Navaho base station first with a 1/4 wave(if I remember the term correctly) then a 3/4 wave antenna at a height past the legal limit, and a Turner 2 power mic. Added a little box that changed it from 23 channels to past the 40 channels.
Sun spot where bad, and I would shoot skip, and talk to people all over the US, I think maybe out side the US. I made post cards and my skip handle was The 327 Snake. When we talked to people around the US, they would send me post cards, they had made, and kids my age would sometimes send a school picture. I had a wall of cards in my room.
Then I got a car and my CB day were over.
