Unless they removed it for some reason, that's the President's desk in the Oval Office, the Resolute Desk.

Bush Senior had it in there for a while, then had the one you were sitting at put in and the Resolute desk moved to his private office.

Pres.G. H. Bush had the double sided desk so the person that was sitting on that side could get writing materials from that side.
He also is a great baseball fan and played baseball in college. He kept his glove in a draw and would put on the glove and start hitting the palm when he had to think things out.

Duffy's dad and I propose that we all put in $1., form the Bank of irv2 and go to congress for some of that bail out money!!! Then we can build a really great park.
