12 volt stove exhaust fan replacement needed

When we bought this 83 Pace Arrow it was missing the 12 volt stove exhaust fans, I temporarily installed a small computer fan in order to have something, but I think we will need something larger. Now that I have the entire vent off the stove to install the new back-splash I wanted to locate a correct replacement but has been unable to locate one, does anyone have a vendor that sell these 12 volt stove exhaust fan, if not I guess I will either install another small one to run two or go back to the computer store and by the large one I can find and install that, I just do that think that these computer fan will hold up very well in this application. all; feed back welcomed.

My CEILING exhaust fans, are 12v, but my cooktop hood exhaust fan (and the light in the hood) is 120v... I just did a google search on "12v hood exhaust fan" and got a number of hits, including Elixir Industries...

thanks for the feedback but I tested the voltage and it is indeed 12 volt, I guess it all depend on how you do the serach, I will try your and see what is offered

Check this out and see if it will work for you. This is the only 12vdc motor that I found. On my Excel...it also has a 12vdc exhaust but Ventline also sells a 120vac motor also.

Do you have the existing motor mount or will you have to invent the wheel?

In Our Old Southwind the Same Fan and Motor was used in the Bath Ceiling Fan and the Stove Hood Vent !

Our hood was splattered with old grease and the fan barely turned. We replaced the entire hood from Walts several years ago. I think it was $20-$30.
FWIW: Electronics Warehouse in Riv. has a great selection of muffin fans.

Thanks for the feed back I have checked all of the site recommended, but I need the complete assembly[the hanger bar is also missing] being it is all gone, so I guess I must keep looking the only place I found with the complete assembly was alrey sold, but I am sure if I keep looking I will find one.

The existing one may be based on standard off the shelf parts.

Your local appliance parts supply or well stocked appliance store (NOT LOWES) may be able to locate a brand new correct one from your photos and measurements.

call around to see if there is a supply house that is willing to help, then drive it there and let them have at it.

It may cost a few bucks more than the DIY solution on the web, but the money stays local and you get the correct item.

One from Lowe's or an appliance store will probably be 110v AC, not 12v DC.
You could adapt a 12v fan from the auto parts or rv store, the type used for personal cooling.
I think an RV dealer would be able to provide a motor and blade, would be easy to make the bracket out of flat metal from Home Depot.

I bought a large computer fan and put in mine. Works great and is a lot quiter than standard fans.

Thanks for the feed back, I decided to buy one of those 12 volt auto fans, which I will disassemble and try to get it to fit, if that doesn't not work the large computer fan was my next thought and that is what I will end up doing if this one doesn't work.

Well if anyone who may be interested in what I ended up doing, I went ahead and bought a cheap 12 auto fan from Walmart for $11.00, disassembled it and took the parts I needed , make a bracket for a small channel of aluminum I had and then installed it into the range hood, when I reinstalled it back over the stove I will switch the polarity of the wiring to make it run backward. I tested it many time and it seem as it it will do the job.
