Hey Bap, just got done looking her over, (the Airstream of course) great job . love the colors. I think you and Debbie have a TT that could easily be full timed in. Polish up the outside and it'd look like new. Nice tub by the way.

Wow Jeff and Debbie that came out incredible! Its like stepping into a time capsule but with all the modern touches they could only dream of in 63'. Seeing projects like yours and how far they have come just continues to build my enthusiasm and drive to really tear into my project!

thank you guys so much for the kind words and opinions,,,---debbies whole plan was to blend old and modern,,,,i know we put alot of blood sweat and some tears into this one...,,,---my tears were i couldnt save the old wood but i really love how debbie changed it and the colors she used,,..

i got the cyclo buffer and nuvite and air bright ready to start the polishing yesterday i started prepping her for my first time of doing this (ive never used a cyclo, ) but the little bit i did with my hand turned it to almost a mirror,,,---today i will start on top and work my way down..

again guys thanks,,,,---i know i value your alls opinio......

Jeff and Debbie,

Very nice job! I think the old Airstreams had to have been built really well because there are still a lot around even though some of them were not well loved.

This one is great the way you guys decorated it. When we went camping last month we had a 1967 Airstream pull in next to us. The guy took me inside and he had redone all of it. It was beautiful. He had hidden a microwave inside, a flat screen TV, and an electric fireplace. The people who had had it had it in a barn. Always stored inside so you can imagine what it looked like on the outside. The inside they had put carpet over the original because they didn't like the color.

He simply removed the old and found the original like new. That is what he was using and it makes the detail of the redo unbelievable! Guy definitely has talent like you two. Glad to see people who are capable to do these rebuilds are doing them so these od rigs are saved.

Nice job, Lynne

thanks LYNNE,,-one of the hardest parts was removing the old carpet to get to the original tile flooring they put in these things,,,the mastic they used to glue the tiles down with had asbestos in it and because of debbies copd i just didnt want to cover it up i wanted it gone,,----and i will telll ya that was a job in its self.....shewww ..

also got me wanting to say how proud i am of my wife,,even while she was haveing a bad time with her copd and being legally blind from her cataracts she still worked sideb x side ---and during her surgerys as soon as we would get home she would grab a cup of coffee and get right to work on it....---
did antone notice how she went with the coffee theme in the kitchen,,,? she also made all the curtains and cushions...before she could see....lol..

MATT.,,,ur doing great with your project,,before you know it you will be enjoying it...

TERRY,,, debbie still has red on her mind,,,--we will see,,,---as we know if we dont like it just do it over..----lol..

thanks again guys,,,

bap,
What a wonderful job that you and Debbie have done on the '63. You guys have to be proud of the way the old girl came out. It is truly a place that you can call your own and be very comfortable.

Bap, I can't imagine polishing that aluminum that's a job . I've done alot of lacquer paint jobs and never enjoyed any of it. But that will be pretty when you get it done, well worth it . Don't forget the pics.
