Welcome to iV2....

Never seen a Frolic TT. You will need to post photos of it pretty soon.

We went the vintage route after 25 years of newer RV's with a 1979 Silver Streak. Great old TT. Makes you wonder how many of the current crop of RV's will still be on the road 25 or 30 years from now.

I can't tell you a good solid source for siding... but you might try a place that repairs semi trailers or a place that builds single wide mobile home trailers.

Opt for 30 amps. Most all the public parks we have stayed in in the last 5 years have had 30 amp. We are in a 22 ft Class C. I am running 30 amps with no problems (including AC unit).

110vAC:
Coleman Rooftop AC unit
3 cf fridge
4 cf freezer, 27" LCD TV
DVD player
Dish TV
Microwave
water heater (running on the electric rod instead of LP)
Desktop computer/ink jet printer/15" LCD monitor

All interior lighting is 12vDC

Most newer campgrounds have 50 and/or 30 amp service. If you plan to A/C your trailer, you do need to put in 30 amps so that you can run the and a microwave at the same time. Mine has 4 circuits on the 30 amp service. The A/C is a 20 amp and the rest are 15 amps breakers.

It really doesn't matter how it is split up since you are limited to a specific amount of power to "divert". I'll bet you have the same panel box I have (GE Brand: 30AMP "main" breaker; 15AMP double space ground fault breaker; 20AMP breaker; 15AMP breaker). Theorectically, we could have simply run the main breaker and 1 single circuit. We tried to balance the circuit loads as it lessens the chance of a weak breaker overloading and tripping. Watch your amps (solar websites have worksheets to help figure loads... check out some). Run your Ac either alone or combined with a lighter load (we combined it up with the furnace fan and a duplex outlet in the ceiling next to the AC unit... I usually plug the vaccum in there... I don't vaccum alot as I'm domestically challenged). AC units pull a heavy load at startup.

Here in the SE US (TN, GA, SC, NC, FL), we have found most public campgrounds are 15/20/30 amps with some 50 amps. Private campgrounds tend to run 30/50 unless older and not updated, then the same as public campgrounds. Haven't camped in AL (need to).

Yep, I meant to type A/C and Microwave. These need to be on separate breakers.

The water heater can be a propane only unit so you do not not need electric except for the 12 VDC to power the ignitor. The electric water heaters are typically about 600 watts and are slow to recover. We seldom use the electric heat on our....I don't know the last time we used it.
