1974 Holiday Ramblette - Need Manual/Repair Info

I just acquired a 1974 Holiday Ramblette (Think its like 16' long) and I am trying to find a digital version of the manual so I can get an idea of the different systems it has and help me in fixing the things that need work. I havent been able to find ANYTHING on my google searches for this particular trailer. Its a small trailer that has the table that drops to a bed right by the door, small kitchen and then a single bed on both sides with cabinets that drop to bunk beds then the end of the trailer is the bathroom. Im looking for any kind of manual to help me get an idea of its systems. I dont know if they had repair manuals or not. This is my first trailer so I want to make sure I get it right. Thanks!

It would be sheer luck to find an owners manual for something like that, and likely a huge disappointment. Most owners manuals are extremely generic - very little or no information specific to your trailer (like the location of fuses for instance).

To learn more about using and servicing any on-board appliances, do a google search on the make and model number. Generally about anything available will come up easily.

Congrats on you purchase, and best of luck with it!

Best of luck there, but I advise you to look up Tin Can Tourists. They are the one group that is centered up on old RVs and mostly little travel trailers. Tin Can is not what they travel in, it is how they had to provision. They started when motor camping started in the early 20th century. They have access to a lot of information that might help you.

It is not very likely that you will ever find a type specific owners manual. You might find a general collect for the period. You also might find documentation on the supplied parts. If you do find anything even close, collect it.

The other thing you have to do now is start a notebook with all the names and model numbers and diagrams (the best you can do will be much better than nothing) of the internal systems.

I have a 1978 Cayo Motorvator, my SIL has a 1973 GMC coach. She and DH have a plethora of technical data. We have more than most, but not a patch on what they have, and we both have friends with other stuff that have squat..... The GMC group was able to supply much of what I did not have and the rest came from an Airstream owner.

I wish you luck.
