1975 Dodge Winnebago Mini 20-RG
Ok I'm pretty sure this one will work, its a 1975 Winnebago 20-rg. It has 92000 miles, just passed smog. New tires and brakes and everything works according to the owners. No water leaks it just needs a hot water heater and plumb the shower. What should I look out for. Thanks.

Have the owner show you that everything actually does work.
It would also be a good tutorial of the rig. Where the electrical control cabinet is, where the turn offs are, whatever, have him show you everything.

Will do, they say it has a 440 but Winnebago brochures say they came with the 360. How hard wow it be to plumb the shower ???

Plumbing the shower is going to be difficult if you can't get underneath the rig from the outside and have to rip it all out from the inside. There is a reason he has not fixed it. How long has it been leaking and how damaged is the floor. Check the corners by pressing really hard on them and see if they give. If not solid then you are probably looking at replacing the floor too (question is, how far out).
If you stand in the shower, does the floor feel soft or give around the drain area. If the plumbing got damaged because of cold weather, did it get damaged elsewhere that he is NOT telling you about.
Water is really bad for RV's, be very vigilant when checking it out. If you can do the work yourself, you will save a lot of money but you may still have to pull it down to the framework. Not necessarily a bad thing as you will see any damage that needs to be fixed and can insulate the walls for sound and heat or AC.
If it is the supply lines to the shower you are talking about and the supply lines meet the hallway wall, maybe that wall could be taken out and easier replaced than tearing everything out.
Just check floor and walls for soft spots.

Under,
At that age, suspect any and all rubber parts. This includes the brake, coolant and fuel lines. If they have not been replaced, they are probably junk.
You say the are new, check the DOT dates to be sure.

If you need help installing the water heater I know of a team to do it. Just have to come to the M&G 2018,
Tim

A 360 has the distributor at the back of the engine.
A 440 or 400 has the distributor at the front of the engine.

It's a 360 distributor in the rear, all plumbing is there just pulled the water heater when it stopped working and never replaced. Engine just passed smog check even though it doesn't need one owner just wanted to make sure it doesn't have any issues. I should have this baby in my possession by tomorrow at this time. It does need the rear couch cushions since there are none ?? Thanks for all the help. Also can I put in a tankless water heater in this unit ?
