I have my mini-winni parked for a couple months now while working on the inside. I have the unit plugged into the house 120 volt eletric and everything seems to be working fine. Then I disconnected from the house only to find nothing working. The battery is completely dead.
Does the 1975 version of the inverter have the capability to keep the house battery charged? Or do I need to buy a cheap trickle battery charger? We only expect to use our RV about four times a year so we can't expect the engine alternator to keep it charged.

I do not know about your unique setup but if the converter charges your house battery then you should be able to test current at the house battery when you are connected to shore power. If you test no current at that battery when connected, then that converter is not charging the battery. Hope that helps................ronspradley
