1977 Champion MH roof repair

Been working on the old motorhome for about two years now. It's time to address the roof. It's has a sheet of aluminum the full length. Now the rear section under where a mac pac was mounted seems soft. Writing to find out if anyone knows hows this old girl was built? Like to gather up a few items before digging into it. Most likely will be working on it this weekend. Trying to get the most out of a Sunday. Thanks in advance. Have a great weekend.

Thumbs up This old RV .

I remember when I was a youngster in the 70's they were building the Champion / Titian and Concord motor homes in a plant in my home town in Canastota, NY . Can't help you much on how they were built that you don't already know , /wood frame with aluminum skin . I remember hundreds of the in the yard ready for shipping . haven't seen one in some time . Good luck on the project .Sounds like a adventure ..
