You two are depressing me! Is that what I have to look forward to as I age!!! Oh wait... Sanjay is YOUNGER than me! Luckily I have no health issues. And I am losing the excess weight that may or may not trigger the Type 2 diabetes that runs in my family (also changed basic diet... no sugar, no aspartame, minimum over processed foods, lots of whole grains and foods). Hopefully I didn't wait until it was too late. On the upside my BP is great... now. Okay, I kinda feel better now... except that my feet are freezing. The extension cord setup is keeping the hose thawed out. Only froze up once when the temps dipped into single digits and stayed there too long. It has dropped down to 12F and stayed in the teens for a couple of days. David and I I now talking about buying an already converted bus (low cost and safer than a "sticks-&-staples" RV) to stay in while we do the Eagle. The Class C just isn't cutting it for the freezing weather and I'm looking at a fair amount of time and $$ to make it able to withstand the freezing temps. I know I will end up "tweaking" just a few things. But the Class C has exposed holding tanks and I have decided it's just too hard to keep them thawed out (gate valves froze up one day) and they are so small (18 gal).

Three days is what I would have gotten from a "private sector" hospital. I went to the VA instead. Seems they are more interested in getting actual results. Of course, being the foremost experts in PTSD (what I went in for) dosn't hurt any either. I came out with good news and bad news though. The bad news is that I have type Ii diabetes, and that is a lot of what was messing with me this last year. The good news is that the VA will take care of it, and me for all my medical needs, all my psych needs, and all my medications. . .with no co-pay, as I'm so poor. At least now I have reliable medical coverage that I can afford. This takes a major load off my neck. . .

Thanks to all of you for your well wishes. They really mean a lot. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

hang in there and take good care of your health.

Hey Lorna,I beat up my body and now I'm paying for it!! As long as you don't have a bunch of accidents or fall down a flight of stairs or maybe 2-3 or take on a tractor- trailer with a Vega, You should be ok!!!
If you do what I said above on top of whatever your family has as traits, You can have a bad back to the tune of 12 discs and they are afraid of operating as they don't want to kill me...Mighty white of them...huh...There are days when I wish death would take me, but when death is about two flights up from the floor I am on, Ain't much chance of that happening!! anyway, Hope you are thawing out as we have been getting that way for the last two days now!! We are getting 70'ish weather for the next 5+ days and then????? have a good one and get out of that frigid weather,

Yup, I'm around. not much to say as I'm becoming the great a**eless wonder by working it off fixing other peoples cars. This leaves little time to post here or on the other place. I finally pulled the safety valve out of my oven (that has not been working) and took it in to see how much it would be to replace. Ummm, I'm in the market for a used RV range with oven. . .

Sorry I have been away so long. I have been working on everyones car in the state, and putting all that cash towards new wheels for my bicycle. I'm building them custom from parts, so I get exactly the wheels I want.
