1977 Pioneer Dodge -- trouble finding parts

Hello all, I just purchased a 1977 Pioneer motorhome in need of some TLC. Unfortunately I'm having trouble finding parts for it. It's built on a Dodge chassis, but I can't seem to figure out what chassis in particular. The VIN number brings up an error when searched, so that's no help. Anyone have any experience with one of these? Thanks for any help!

-Joseph

Is it a class A or class C ? Chassis and engine parts should be easy to find at places like NAPA or Auto Zone. E-bay can also be a good source.

Hi Joe. I might be able to help you out some. I've just started my resto on a '73 dodge class A and will be going through some of the same research.

These guys specialize in dodge motorhome parts - especially the brakes.

If its a class C, ya simply ask for automotive parts for a 1977 B300 Maxi Van.

Make sure you have a copy of the Dodge Service Manual and the Parts manual. Most parts are available through NAPA. Optain the Dodge P/N from the Parts manual then use the NAPA P/N interchange online to cross it over to aftermarket P/N. Very few parts places list a Dodge Class A chassis. Class C (MB300) typically is listed.
Alretta is very expensive on parts. If you can cross the number at NAPA you will save a lot of money.
