How did the overheating go driving it there

Well, the place is less than two miles away so it might have reached 180, I actually wasn't paying attention.

I've heard there's a bill they're trying to pass that would exempt pre-1981 vehicles (it's pre-1975 now), but I see that I would have to get collector car insurance. Not sure how that would work!

I had always heard that California smog checks were strict. You only have to smog check in two county's in Nevada. Motor homes were exempt until recently. Cars pre 68 are exempt also. Would sometimes have issues with HC at 2500 rpm but that was usually a timing issue. Would be nice if they would give you a waver so you can get things sorted out. Best of luck

Woke up in MASSIVE PAIN this morning. Turns out I had a 7mm stone! Dear Lord, easily the worst pain I've ever felt!
At home recovering, with plenty of Norco. [emoji4]

Prayers sent

Hopefully your DR. can do lipotripsy and break up the stone. I had a kidney stone once. Felt like my back was going to break in two pieces.

Yep, they broke it up with a laser. I was there from 7am thru 10pm.
Doc said it must have been in my kidney for years, growing and biding its time. Working on my stomach may have dislodged it.
And it felt like someone was twisting a knife in my side.
Whoooo baby, I never want to go on that ride again.
I'm anxious to speak with my doc to see what kind of a stone it was.
Very uncomfortable sleeping last night, getting up a dozen times to do painful peeing.
Stay healthy out there and I'll give updates soon!

Got a call from the smog place yesterday while I was in the ER. Between waves of pain and doses of morphine and diloted, I think
they said the RV was in the "gross polluter" range.
As soon as I'm able, I'll get to crackin' on a tuneup.

Glad the DR. was able to help you.

They probably gave you Dilaudid for pain. Hope each day that goes by has you feeling better.

Thank you all. I'm recovering but bedridden for now. Frustrated that I can't work on her. I've dropped back to Tylenol for pain.
I have a super pubic catheter that I hope is removed on Monday. It's very uncomfortable but it beats kidney stone pain!
Now if I can get some pancakes I'd be in heaven...[emoji4]
