1981 Citation

Howdy,

I enjoy our 1981 General Coach Citation Class C motorhome but I would like to find a manual for it. Have tried the links supplied by our moderator but no luck with General Coach....(none available)

Anyone have any other suggestions. (and thankyou 007)

We have been so lucky with this coach....few troubles and loads of fun!

What is the home built on (Ford, GMC, ...)?
Are you wanting it for the home or the chassis part?

Hi subford,

It is on a Ford chassis and I would like a manual for the chassis and the 'home' part. It was originally built to run on both propane and gasoline. The propane tank is huge (as in I've never run out!) The engine and other things under the hood are built to take the heat of propane, and although it was disconnected before we obtained the unit, I would like to see if it's a possibility to run this way again. Not terribly important but it's just a thought. However obtaining a manual on the Ford and the coach would certainly make my day.

regards,

Nancy in Ontario

I had an 83 Class "C" Home on an 1982 For Chassis and there about 4 Volumes of Ford Manuals all together are they are about 5 inches thick. I thought maybe if you needed something copied I could do that and email it to you. I no longer have the Class "C" manual as it went with the Diamond when I sold it. Although I have mad a lot of drawing of the systems in it that I could email you but do not know if they are the same as your home or not.
