Wow, you & Jodi sure put a lot of work into that unit. You did a fine job & have a LOT to be proud of. It looks great. See you soon at a Pond Piggie get together.

How is it one careless match can start a forest fire but it takes a whole box to start a campfire?

More modifications....

Last night I drove up to Chardon Ohio to pick up a 10' awning that was recently taken off of a Coleman. Today I removed the outdoor light from the roof of our Jayco and the awning fit just right. I haven't decided yet if I'm going to remount the light on the lower body similar to Coleman PUPs.

I got a MaxxAir vent cover for my birthday last week. Today I bought a new 14x14 roof vent to replace the 10x10. Grandpa already has made a new wood frame for the larger vent. If tomorrow is rain free, I'll cut the roof skin, insert the new frame, mount the new roof vent and MaxxAir vent cover.

George

We did it today. The morning started out sunny, but we got rain before the finish. http://jaycojaydove.irv2.com/photo6.html

Hi George its been a long time since I have been on this board - I am just now getting back on my feet after an 18 month job search - I was laid off in June 03 after 26yr with the same co. I sill have my Trail-Lite - but would like to trade it - it seems to be on the verge of another big leak. I see that you went back to basics - I envy your gas milage - but my Tahoe is still getting 19mpg hy not towing and 12-13 towing. What happened to the Georgie-Boy - do you still have it for when gas gets reasonable again? Again good luck with the project-I looks good so far.
