1983 Avion

Continuing to work on our 35' Avion. The old power panel starting over charging the house batteries and ruined one. We had already decided that we wanted to add a 2nd AC unit before summer. So, bought a 50 amp power panel and swapped out the old unit. Both old and new are made my Progressive Dynamics, so the swap was fairy straight forward. The old 30 amp one was very heavy compared to the new 50 amp panel.

Had room for a new circuit for the lighting rod we added to the gas hot water heater. Also put in a plug on a 20 amp circuit for us to plug in our electric heater. And of course, a new 20 amp circuit for the 2nd AC.

Cut the old single step that was rusted through off and had a new 2 step welded on.

Making progress a little at a time.

The Avion pulls better than my 30' Mobile Scout ever thought about pulling. Our mpg has increased a by 2 - 3; which is a real plus. So far we are enjoying the trailer.
