Not sure on the gas cap either. I have 2 tanks for a total of 100 gallons (a 70 back and a 30 up front) on the fuel. If I overfill the rear tank it will come out a overflow tube in the rear. (found out the hard way by a MHP). I'm pretty sure 70 gallons of water, 40 on the gray and Black tanks. I would have to check in the owners manual... LOL
I noticed your Bath and kitchen cabinets are different.
I have Pic's of mine in my profile. Are your tires 225x70xR19.5? I was thinking of getting a little wider tire just for stability.
Nice rig though.
I wish I could go to the beach currently 10 above warmest for days...

As for the gasoline coming out of the filler cap, you need to be a little more specific here. How much gas? Was the tank freshly filled? I know with mine, if I try to "make sure the tank is full" after the fuel valve shuts off, I get some leakage from the spit line.

If the previous owner drilled a vent in the filler cap for your tank, well, welcome to the great world of "Why did the PO do this?"

Nice looking rv !!! As far as fuel coming out of the cap after a 60 mile run,, I would wonder if you have 2 fuel tanks ??? The reason I ask is if the fuel return from the engine could be over filling one tank, drawing from the other... ? Thats the only way I see of it "making gas" ... IF thats the case, turn the shut off closed on the second tank and try it that way... The only reason to drill a hole in the cap is a vapor lock problem... I'd go buy a new "vented" cap.. Then track down the tank vent line,, its probably plugged or crimped somewhere...

Gas problem sounds odd. Check the emissions for a vapor capture. I don't know this model but nothing that age should be pressurized. Pump should be putting 4 to 7 psi to the carb and the vapor recovery should be pulling vacuum. If it were clogged or blocked it could cause an over pressure issue due to daily thermal expansion. Bad idea either way. Sometimes called an evap canister.

I seriously don't know too much about MH's.
It's an 80 gallon single fuel tank.
Do you know how much water it holds?

Finally - how much do you think it's actually worth? I know that's difficult to estimate from pics but.....

Thanks!
I can tell you I have mine insured for $10,000.
How's it been so far?
Tim

Hey, sweet rig, love the paint job, makes it look much newer than an 84'. (not that it needs too). I am pretty sure the gas cap should not have a hole drilled into it, i believe you can get a vented gas cap, probably eBay would be your best bet or local Napa.
I also have an 84 Pace Arrow, not the Eleganza, on which I did a lot of research, and the Eleganza was a more pointy or aerodynamic body style, yours looks like a Pace Arrow to me, not the Eleganza, not that it matters, just thought i would share that with you, either way, it is really nice and well kept! Happy Journeys!

I've recently bought a 1984 Fleetwood Pace Arrow Eleganza with two friends.
Good Luck with both of them still being friends in the future.
Title in all 3 names?
Plates in all 3 names?
Insurance in all 3 names?
All repairs shared $$$ 3 ways no matter who was driving or using the unit?
