1984 Fleetwood Pace Arrow Eleganza

Hi All - first post here.

I've recently bought a 1984 Fleetwood Pace Arrow Eleganza with two friends. It was a friend of a friend deal that kind of popped up out of nowhere and was cost-wise too much of a good deal to turn down. It has been meticulously maintained. 55K on the motor, 300hrs on the generator, brand new fridge/freezer, new awning, brand new mattress, new exterior paint job several years ago, front and rear bumpers re-chromed along with wheels and the ladder at the back powder coated.
All hoses replaced in last 2-3 years along with brakes and a bunch of other maintenance logs.....

Suffice to say we're all very happy with the opportunity to own this sweet RV!

Some photos below.

One thing I would be interested in knowing is what the reputation of the pace arrow eleganza is like - why the 'eleganza'? I personally don''t know much about the RV world but I know we'd like to maintain this RV as is.
Thanks!

Yes, I managed to track down the manual thanks. The Previous owner spent a good 2hrs going through all the nuances that come with as 30 year old RV!

Gald too hear you found a Nice one.
Have any more interior Pic's?

Hi Tim - thanks and will post more pics over the weekend.
What was the difference between not having eleganza and having it?
I seriously don't know too much about MH's.
It's an 80 gallon single fuel tank.
Do you know how much water it holds?

Finally - how much do you think it's actually worth? I know that's difficult to estimate from pics but.....

Thanks!

Sweet looking ride! I'm assuming the GM 454 engine and TH400 transmission. They may not be as sexy as a diesel pusher, but you'll be happy if it needs to be repaired. Everything is available and inexpensive.

Happy trails!

Hi all - thanks for the welcome.
Took a 60 mile round journey to the beach yesterday - great times!

When my co-owner got the RV back to his place he said gasoline was coming out of the top of the gas cap. The tank was full at the start of the journey.

Clearly this isn't normal - and pretty dangerous - the previous owner had drilled a hole in the center of the gas cap as he said pressure in the gas tank was a problem

Any thoughts/ideas?

yes on the GM 454 engine and TH400 transmission!

If anyone has any thoughts on the gas problem - that'd be appreciated!

Thanks All!
