1986 VIXEN 21TD (ser#215)

If you don't need alot of room & you are on a budget...the Vixen makes an excellent small motorhome...the engineering was ahead of it's time & the aerodynamics built into it makes for phenominal mileage...powered by a 2.4L 6cyl Turbo Diesel BMW (pusher) & coupled with a 5 spd manual tranny, I often saw 30+ mpg...because of it's unique design & resemblance to the space shuttle, I made a rolling memorial out of it after the "Columbia Disaster"...needless to say it has brought alot of interest...

has a garrett research turbo...the same kind they put on airplane engines...at 5,500 lbs. & with the 5 speed it pulls hill really good...also at high altitudes it has good power & i've been over many a continental divide when traversing colorado...
