1987 Fleetwood Yukon Wilderness 5th Wheel

Newbie, 1st Time RV'er,

Well I bought this old 21' 5th wheel couple months ago, got a decent buy, in really good shape. Inside great, no tears, etc. 30 AMP

AC - works fine
Hot water heater - works, igniter works, water gets hot, yahoo

Couple Problems I have encountered

1. Fridge works fine when unit plugged in to 110, not sure if propane kicks in - How do I check?

2. Fresh Water tank won't take water from outside gravity fill - water won't go in small hole when tray is pulled out

Water service to kitchen sink, bathroom sink, shower is fine when hooked up to hose from outside connection

Water Pump works when switch turned on - NO WATER IN TANK!!!!

3. All lights work when plugged in - Where is converter? What does a converter look like?

4. Furnace - how do I get it to turn on?

Thanks in advance for any info!!!

Fuse replacement on battery connection, 12V system working like it should. I'm pretty sure!

Lights came on unhooked, water heater ignitor worked unhooked.

Got Water Hose Filler with 9" extension, fresh water tank full, still not flowing without some over flow, but it's full and ready to be sanitized!

Water pump working. Off of 12V as well.

When I am rolling and lights hooked up, alternator charges on board battery CORRECT?

And dry camping if I am hooked up, 5th wheel use could drain my tow truck battery CORRECT?

I just have to monitor my usage and charge battery by 1. Running my truck hooked up dry camping or 2. Use generator. CORRECT?

Can fridge run off of 12V if needed? It works fine 110, still wondering on propane. How do I check?

I'll stop for now!

Thanks again

Took her out Friday and Saturday nights for 1st time at a State Park here in Arizona. Alamo Lake to be specific.

Still couldn't get furnace to work right but I had a small electric heater that worked fine. I was hooked up to electricity and water.

Sleeping berth was awesome, beats heck out of tent and air mattress. Middle of the night rest room breaks are nice as well. Don't need flashlight and freezing temps headed to woods or park rest rooms.

Dumped just fine no issues.

I can't wait for Spring and Summer to hit the forests up by Payson, Flagstaff, Williams and Show Low.

You need to head south to Rocky point all winter long. There are more places to go in the winter than the summer,, less crowds.
Make sure your lp tank has propane.
Turn on valve.
turn on switch/detector (mine is in kitchen near floor).
set the thermostat and see what happens.
No on 12volt refer
Follow instructions on fridge for lighting. (It might take a few tries)
Make sure you have water in tank and turn on switch.

If still no luck let us know.
